Lisa Nyberg & Julia Giertz come together for a new work for INTONAL April 27-29 2018
In a collective effort to anticipate the future, we are learning to stay with the trouble. The trouble of living and dying, together on a damaged earth.
In this space we allow ourselves to become with the dark network of the cephalopod mollusks, such as octopuses, cuttlefish and squids. The body of the cephalopod is tender and pliant. Their highly decentralized nervous system re-locates brainpower throughout the body, into a myriad of local neural networks – feelers of extreme sensibility.
We invite you to dissolve and de-normalize in a space of speculative fabulation, feminist mythology, immersive audio and sound as touch.
Our bodies will be activated when we expand into softness.
Location: Inter Arts Center Malmö, Black Room
Friday 18 – 22
Saturday 15 – 22
Sunday 17 – 20
This installation is part of INTONAL Experimental Music Festival, but as all events and installations at IAC are free of charge you do not need a festival ticket. Just come!
